U.S. Small Business Administration: HSPD-12 Solutions

IBEX was selected by the U.S. Small Business Administration to develop their Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 program, (HSPD-12). HSPD-12 establishes a “Government-wide standard for secure and reliable forms of identification issued by the Federal Government to its employees and contractors.” IBEX provides the following HSPD-12 services:

  • Program Management and Systems Integration Support for civilian and sector government agencies.
  • HSPD-12 compliant ID cards for agencies.
  • Commercial PKI services.

Federal Acquisition Institute's (FIA) Acquisition Career Management Information System (ACMIS): Project Management and System Support

In March, IBEX was awarded a contract to provide infrastructure, project management, and system support for the GSA Acquisition Career Management Information System known as ACMIS.

ACMIS is a government-wide system which was developed and is managed by the FAI to assist agencies in making informed budgeting, staffing, training, and employment development decisions. ACMIS is web-based and can be accessed through the FAI website (https://admin.acmis.gov). It supports federal agency requirements to maintain training records of acquisition workforce, as directed under the Clinger-Cohen Act, and tracks for Federal Acquisition Certifications (FAC) requirements and achievement levels.

IBEX provides Help Desk support (Tier I, II), S/W development, and addresses requirements for ACMIS hosting. IBEX also supports system integration/migration, disaster recovery, quality assurance, and enterprise reporting.


DC Public Schools: Web Enabling Processes for Teachers

Currently developing DC Public Schools’ first web-enabled elementary school report (what does this mean) to include features such as single sign-on, printer encryption, and a database repository. This automates processes that were performed manually by teachers.


Navajo Nations DC Office, Enterprise Network Management

Installation, Configuration, Cabling, and Testing of network services including:

  • Internet/Intranet (Cisco routers, Windows 2000 Servers)
  • Mail (Exchange 2000 Server/Outlook)
  • Firewall (Symantec Enterprise Firewall)

OTI Iraq Swift II, Grant Database Conversion

Conversion of a OTI’s Iraq Swift II’s Grant Database from a stand-alone Microsoft Access application to an ASP web-enabled enabled platform.

This allowed 150 users to access the database in real-time, allowing them to input information for existing grants and create new ones, view funding reports, create grant themes, utilize GPS features, and export information.


Walter Reed Hospital: Desktop and Helpdesk Support

Performed on-site desktop, printer, and peripheral support as well as troubleshooting and preventative maintenance for software and hardware.


Nationwide USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service: LAN/WAN and Circuit Provisioning

Provided Network Engineering, Telecommunication Integration, Structure Cabling, and Program Management.


Emergency Preparedness Office: Network Redundancy

IBEX was tasked with implementing Satellite Network Redundancy for 24 California Health Department Bio-terrorism Sites utilizing Satellite Telecommunication technology, as well as performing Project Management and Configuration Management.
